Create your own advert, upload photos and video. Search through our ads and apply online. Ziggie is also an online resource that offers advice, tips and links to help people find share accommodation. How does it work?
Searching for share accommodation on Ziggie is easy and you can begin immediately. You do NOT need to pay to begin searching or build a member profile. Simply select your search criteria and you're off. To be notified of any new share accommodation ads sign up to our Email Alerts. All you need is an email address.

When placing an ad with Ziggie you will only pay one fee - there are no hidden costs. Your ad will be displayed until your require or cancel it. Or if your account has remained inactive for 6 months. There are no limited terms or ongoing costly subscription plans. You build your own ad and can edit it at any time. Editing is unlimited. With Ziggie you can upload photographs, video and have 2500 Character word limit on the text. So there no more confusing abbreviations! There are no restrictions on who can view your ad. In fact, your potential viewers will be limited to the world! You also have the option of priority listing. This is where your ad will be highlighted and appear first before the standard ads. Applicants will be emailed straight to your inbox. You will have the ability to screen applicants via our online email system and choose who you wish to contact. You will also have the ability to choose if you wish to display your contact details on the site. Helping you to stay safe and secure while searching for share accommodation.

How often does the site get updated?
The site is updated on a daily basis. Each listing displays the date posted.

Do I need an email address to use Ziggie?
Yes, you will need an email address to use our service. There are many search engines that offer free email accounts.

How do I login to my account?
To access your account click on "My Ziggie" and enter your email address and password that you created when you signed up.

I am having trouble logging in, help!
First check to make sure you are using the correct password. To do this click on forgot password and enter your email address you used when you registered your account. Your account details will be emailed to you. Your login will be your email address. Also ensure that you have Cookies enabled on the site. To check whether Cookies are enabled on your browser, click on TOOLS in your browser tool bar, select INTERNET OPTIONS, click on the PRIVACY TAB and then select the ADVANCED OPTIONS. Both the 1st PARTY and 3rd PARTY Cookies should be set to ACCEPT. If you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer, click on the HELP button in your browser tool bar and search the index for enabling cookies.

I forgot my password can you help me?
If you have forgotten your password, simply click on forgot password and enter your email address that you used when you registered your account and your account details will be emailed to you.

How do I log out?
It's a good idea to use the Log Out link when you're exiting the ZIGGIE.COM.AU, especially if you're using a public or work computer to ensure your details are kept confidential. Simply click on the Log Out link to end your session. If you have 'Save' enabled and Cookies turned on, the next time you visit the site from the same computer, you'll automatically be logged in.

How long will my account remain active?
Your account will remain active until you cancel it or if your account has remained inactive for a period of 6 months.

How can I cancel my account?
To cancel your "My Ziggie" account, go to the "My Ziggie" page and sign in. Then click on "Cancel My Ziggie Account" at the top right hand corner, which is display under "Log Out."

Does ZIGGIE.COM.AU have a refund policy?
Placing an Ad is non refundable and non transferable.

Posting an Ad

How much does it cost to advertise on the site?
Our prices start from $45 (including GST) for a standard ad, $77 (including GST) for a premium ad.

I have more that one property to let out by the room do I get a discount for advertising on your site?
If you have more than one property to rent out by the room, we offer additional 'top up' listings that you can add to your Premium Ad at anytime. You can begin by placing one advert then add more listings later on. The first advert is the cost of a Premium Ad - $77 and $45 for each extra ad there after.

How long will my advertisement run for?
Your ad will remain active until you cancel it or if you have not used your account for a period of 6 months. Once you have found share accommodation you are required by the ZIGGIE.COM.AU Terms and Conditions to cancel your ad within 72 hours of it no longer being available.

I have found a flatmate now what do I do?
Once you have found share accommodation you are required by the ZIGGIE.COM.AU Terms and Conditions to cancel your ad within 72 hours of it no longer being available.

I want to advertise, but don't want to advertise my personal details over the internet.
With ZIGGIE.COM.AU it is your choice if you wish to display your personal details on the site. Some personal details are required in order to process payment. We have made it optional to add personal details to your ad so you don't have to have your last name displayed on the ad, street name or number, your mobile number or email address.

How can I edit or cancel my advertisement?
When you Place an Ad you are given an account. To make any changes simply login to your "MyZiggie" account and go to the "My Ads" section. To update your details click on "Edit." Or to cancel your ad, click on "Delete."

I have a Standard Ad, how can I upgrade to a Premium Ad?
Sign in to your "My Ziggie" account. Go to the "My Ads" section and click on "Upgrade."

I was disconnected when I was posting an advert, what should I do now?
Don't worry your information has been saved. Just log in with your email and password that you used to set up the account and continue.

Searching

Can I be notified of new listings via email?
Yes, by signing up with our Email Alert feature you will automatically be notified by email of new listings. If you have an account with us already simply click here and this will take you to the "My Ziggie" sign-in page. If you do not have an account, go to the "My Ziggie" sign-in page and enter your email and password. Then go to the "My Email Alerts" section and "Create New."

I am interested in applying for an ad on your site. How do I can I contact the advertiser?
To apply for one of the ads simply go to their ad and fill in the "Send Email" form. This message will be forwarded onto the advertiser and they will contact you.

I have applied for an ad on ZIGGIE.COM.AU, but I have not received a response.
All emails are forwarded onto the advertiser through our website. We do not receive these emails. Advertisers have the ability to screen applicants and choose who they wish to contact. This helps to maintain a safe and secure share accommodation service. If you have not received a response from the advertiser, then this has been their choice. To increase your chances of finding share accommodation we recommend that you Place an Ad on our site.

Security

I found a suspicious advertisement. What should I do
ZIGGIE.COM.AU is a professional site. In no way to we condone inappropriate ads. This includes ads displaying coarse language, nudity, content that is discriminating or offensive, inappropriate photographs or video. All ads are reviewed before they are posted on our site, although this system is not perfect. Unfortunately we cannot check the integrity or truthfulness of ads and do rely on our users to alert us to suspicious ads. If you do find an inappropriate ad, contact us with the details of the ad, including their name and Listing ID No. If we believe that they breach our Terms & Conditions they will be censored or taken off our site with no refund.
